The first thumbnail is a picture of Clanwilliam with the Cedarberg mountains in the background. On the return journey to Clanwilliam via the Cedarberg a dried King protea was seen at a viewing stop. The red "Rocket Pincushion" (Leucospermum reflexum) was seen in the Ramskop Nature Reserve on the Olifants River in Clanwilliam. The Grielum and white Rain daisies (Dimorphotheca pluvialis) were near the service station at Klawer. The rightmost picture was taken just south of Lamberts Bay.

Just outside Vanrhynsdorp, another picture of the magenta flowers. The next picture is a close-up of some of those flowers. Just before Vanrhyn's Pass, yellow and orange flowers in the fields across the landscape. Closer examination resulted in the next two pictures.
